Now we’re going to take a look at learning styles. The discussion of learning styles either simplifies things for you or makes you feel guilty. I’m in the latter camp. My gut reaction to learning style theory is to feel anxious that I’m not properly igniting my child’s passion in his own educational language. I’m not teaching right. But that’s my problem, and it’s not true. If you are like me, maybe you and I can form a not learning styles right support group together.
Rather than feeling the pressure to homeschool right or to follow one particular curriculum path, recognize and celebrate the learning your child achieves every day. It’s as simple as that.
How did you catch your early learner using his learning styles today?
