Hopefully, our teen learned during the middle school years how to compensate for his natural weaknesses and maximize his strengths by harnessing the secret powers of his own learning style. But now, as the courses and assignments ramp up in intensity, he may need encouragement to work his plan.
So while you may be giving gentle reminders and encouragement to your high school freshman, by the senior year your student should be applying his own learning style and studying on his own successfully.
