The Prayer | Homeschool High School Made Easy 23

Welcome to the month-long series “Homeschool HIGH SCHOOL Made Easy,” a follow-up to the popular “Homeschool Made Easy” series (now published on kindle). I’m sharing tips from my experience as a homeschool graduate and homeschool mother, showing YOU how easy and enjoyable these high school years can be for you and your teen. Be sure to sign up for the entire series so you don’t miss a thing!

Rearing children and launching teens is not for the faint of heart! Are you afraid, nervous, worried, or anxious? Let’s continually commit this work to God, remembering that only He can guide our young people toward Himself. In case you are struggling for the words to say, here’s a sample prayer from Paul the Apostle:

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

— Ephesians 3:14-21

Enjoy your day of rest. Beginning Monday, we’ll discuss the social issues that arise with our homeschool teens and how to use these opportunities to train them toward adulthood. Be sure to invite a friend!
