Welcome to the month-long series “Homeschool HIGH SCHOOL Made Easy,” a follow-up to the popular “Homeschool Made Easy” series (now published on kindle). I’m sharing tips from my experience as a homeschool graduate and homeschool mother, showing YOU how easy and enjoyable these high school years can be for you and your teen. Be sure to sign up for the entire series so you don’t miss a thing!
You did it. Congratulations! You braved your fears, you bucked the system, you forged your own path and you made an adult. It’s time to launch them out into the world, into the glorious future God created them for.
Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so thatall may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself andyour hearers.
— 1 Timothy 4:11-16
Enjoy your day of rest. Monday, we’ll complete our series with a list of lessons we need to teach our graduates. Be sure to invite a friend!
