My purpose in writing Homeschool High School Made Easy was not just to add yet another homeschool book on the Amazon list. I wanted more than just yet another guide to creating transcripts and planning high school courses.
Because, quite frankly, you can get all of that with a quick google search. Homeschoolers have been passing ACTs and SATs for years, submitting transcripts to colleges for a couple generations, and successfully graduating into adulthood by the millions. Simply getting you over the finish line was not the purpose.
Find the Purpose in YOUR Homeschooling
Instead, it is my goal to help you reframe your questions entirely. I want to shake up your view of homeschooling high school and cause you to question everything you are doing. It’s my prayer you will be disturbed and frustrated into searching once again for the entire purpose of every day of your family life.
Because that is exactly how God grows us and changes us. It is when our foundations are shaken, when the trials overwhelm us, when the tasks seem too hard and the foes too fierce that we finally look to Him. That is when we cry out to God for His plan, His provision, His power.
No matter where you are in your homeschooling, no matter how long you’ve been at it or how much you think you know or how successful your plan has been up to this point, I’m praying for you today that you will stop and ask yourself the big homeschool why. Seek God’s purpose in your lesson plans right now. Make that front and center. And then watch everything else simply fall into place.
