Why Your Child Needs Middle School

A while back, a friend of mine messaged me on facebook. My one friend says she thinks 7th and 8th is just a rehash of elementary and that it would be fine to just jump to 9th. Would you have the same opinion? - N.S. via facebook I was really taken aback by the question. As in, yelling, … [Read more...] about Why Your Child Needs Middle School

Taking Time to Heal

I have broken my left wrist twice. That's exceptional, but to a musician, it's notable. I  vividly recall the second time I broke it. I couldn't get it off my mind, and I read several … [Read more...] about Interview with the Authors of The Day I Met Jesus

What if God Himself came down to earth and looked like a man and walked like a man and had a personal relationship with select women? What if those women he chose to touch, to live with, to eat with, and to have intimate discussions with included an adulteress, a prostitute, an ethnic outcast, a … [Read more...] about FREEBIE – The Day I Met Jesus

5 Surprising Reasons People Hurt Us

5 Surprising Reasons People Hurt Us

"Lord, Heal My Hurts" prays Kay Arthur in the title of a book on the shelf beside me. I see that cover every day and nearly as often send that prayer to the heavens, pleading God will heal the gaping wounds and stiffening scabs on my own heart. Over the last two decades, I've experienced my fair … [Read more...] about 5 Surprising Reasons People Hurt Us
